What makes VOLBELLA so great for treating lips?

Like all Juvéderm fillers, VOLBELLA is made with hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring component of young, healthy skin. VOLBELLA is formulated with patented VYCROSS technology, which results in a gel that is sturdy enough to enhance the lips, yet thin enough to fill tiny lines and wrinkles around the mouth and lips.

This advanced formula gives us great control over your results, allowing us to specifically address your needs and help you achieve the natural enhancements you want without drastic changes.

How long does it take VOLBELLA to work?

Injections take around 30 minutes, with results visible immediately. It’s normal to experience some mild swelling and redness around the injection site for a few hours or day, although these side effects are usually mild and short-lived. Results will continue to improve for about two weeks, as the filler settles in.

Do VOLBELLA injections hurt?

VOLBELLA is also formulated with the anesthetic lidocaine and the needle used is very small. We also provide a topical numbing agent prior to treatment. Most of our patients say that injections are much more comfortable than they expected. Even so, we offer the add-on option of PRO-NOX, a self-administered nitrous oxide gas, for patients who desire additional pain relief or who simply are not fans of needles.
